The Endoscopy Center of Marin is located in beautiful Marin County, just a brief drive north of the Golden Gate Bridge and near Marin General Hospital.  

The Endoscopy Center of Marin is a modern facility that provides a friendly and convenient location for your colonoscopy or upper G.I. endoscopy. Our experienced, board-certified physicians have dedicated themselves to caring for OUR community since 1999. Patients are frequently seen for colorectal cancer screening and problems involving the digestive tract. The Center participates in Medicare, most PPO and other insurance plans and all HMO plans affiliated with Meritage Medical

Network (formerly Marin-Sonoma IPA). 

The Endoscopy Center of Marin is proud to be Medicare Certified and accredited by the

American Association of Ambulatory Health Care Centers (AAAHC).

Our Center provides care with a commitment to preventing and eliminating health care errors. We encourage our patients to be actively involved in their care process. We want our patients to ask questions, voice concerns and educate themselves about their illnesses, medications they are taking, and patient rights and to discuss those with the Medical and Nursing staff upon admission. We encourage patients to be informed about Patient Rights and Responsibilities,Advanced Directives, our Privacy Practices, and Medical Records release process.

The Endoscopy Center of Marin provides free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as:

  • Qualified sign language interpreters
  • Written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats)
  • Provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as:
  •     Qualified interpreters
  •     Information written in other languages

 Translation services can be provided in these and other languages.

We are  focused on measuring and improving the quality and safety of our endoscopic services. We record and evaluate these outcomes both internally and externally through a continuous quality  improvement process. ​We regularly report to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), GIQuic Registry, and the national ASC ( Ambulatory Surgery Center) Quality Collaboration (ASC QC).

The Endoscopy Center of Marin, LLC is jointly owned and managed by AMSURG, Inc and Endoscopy Associates of Marin, Inc (Dr's. Bazalgette, Sowerby, Bettinger, Lee, Davis, Sharma, Malladi, Hogan).

Your are required to have a responsible person to drive you home after your procedure, Cabs, Uber, Lyft and other non-medical ride services are not permitted for your safety following anesthesia. 

If you are scheduled for a procedure at our facility, you are not permitted to have your ride in the lobby or recovery room with you. Please ensure your ride has their cell phone they can be reached on when you are ready for discharge. Any patient presenting with a fever will be cancelled immediately and rescheduled per CMS and CDC guidelines. You MUST also be wearing a face cover that covers your nose and mouth upon entry. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of procedure.
